National Pasta Month With Al Dente

Did you know that October is National Pasta Month? I was fortunate to have been treated to a gastronomic feast by Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta last Saturday at The Blackboard by Chef Michel, The Podium.

We all love pasta. Some like it in red sauce, I like mine creamy. But yeah, serve me any pasta and I'll indulge. I can survive the whole day just eating pasta. That's how big of a pasta monster I am.

During the event, I discovered many things about pasta. Some of them includes:

- Most of the pasta in the market are of teflon die-- and bronze die are better because the sauce tends to hold better on that.
- Pasta is not fattening- now isn't this a good news? :)
- One can incorporate fruit in pasta to make it healthier. Yeah. Maybe I should try a citrus pasta soon.

And my biggest discovery for that day-- the healthy Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta!

What sets Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta apart from the other brands?

RJ Ledesma was also at the event to share his pasta experience.

Owner of The Blackboard, Chef Michel Cottabaren also shared his pasta mastery thru a cooking demo. I can tell you I was salivating while he cooks.

Here's what Chef Michel prepared for us-- Al Dente pasta dishes!

 Fettucini with prawn

 Penne with bacon and mushroom

Lasagna

Everything were sinfully delicious-and since it's Al Dente Pasta, you know it's healthy!

Bloggers and friends also showcased their culinary skills in a 10 minute pasta challenge.

Im also excited to try cooking my own pasta dish at home. To ensure the quality and taste, of course I will use Doña Elena products!

It was indeed a fun day and it was made more special by Al Dente Pasta.

When you really want to show love, keep the flowers and say it with spaghetti.

Now, go and be merry pasta lovers! The next time someone asks you how you like your pasta, simply say, "Al Dente!"
