Isla Vista Beach Resort: A Perfect Getaway in Zambales

Are you seeking for a tranquil, remote beach to visit on your next vacation? The Isla Vista Beach Resort in Zambales is the only place to go! This hidden gem offers breathtaking ocean views, lovely sand beaches, and a range of facilities and activities to keep you entertained while you're there.

THE RESORT

Isla Vista Beach Resort is located in the picturesque community of Candelaria, Zambales. Isla Vista translates to 'View of the Island'. It is a hidden gem that provides the ideal vacation from the rush and bustle of daily life. Our trip took us at least 6 hours on the road- we were practically all asleep in the van because we departed Manila around 9PM. We were at the resort by 3AM. We decided to continue our sleep on our rooms and woke up around 8AM for our breakfast.

I knew I had discovered a spot that was absolutely unique as soon as I stepped onto the white sand beach and felt the warm sun on my face.

FEATURES AND AMENITIES

The Isla Vista Beach Resort is equipped with everything you require for a relaxing and delightful visit. Each bedroom has air conditioning, cozy beds, and spotless bathrooms. Some of the more opulent rooms have an own balcony with views of the water.

We stayed in one of the 2 beach houses. It has 4 rooms with own T and B. It also has a spacious living and dining area. The whole house can accommodate 8-10 pax. The beach house was rustic and charming. The room has neatly tucked, fresh sheets. My bed has the right firmness, something I always look forward to sink in as night falls. I learned that the resort plans to do a renovation on the houses soon so it's something guests can look forward to in the future.

What I love about staying in the beach house is that we have a dedicated service staff to assist us. If you need something to buy at the market or prepare dinner or wanting to grill some barbeque, the dedicated service staff will take care of it.

We had our lunch at the house and also had videoke during the night. Again, the living area was sizeable you bet we turned it to a dance floor!

The resort has a large pool, perfect for those who prefers something less salty and is a nice place to lounge in the sun.

There is a restaurant at the resort that serves delectable Filipino food. Fresh seafood, grilled meats, and other regional cuisine are available while you take in the breathtaking ocean views. There is a bar in the resort where you may unwind and enjoy a few drinks.

We also had the opportunity to have an early dinner by the beach. The staff had a table set up by the shore and we had the magnificent sunset as the back drop. If you're coming here with your loved one, I suggest availing this to make your Isla Vista getaway more romantic.

If you prefer camping, you can do so at the resort's Tent City. I'm sure it will be a lovely evening star gazing.

THINGS TO DO

One of the main attractions of Isla Vista Beach Resort is, of course, the beach. The resort's beach is a secluded and tranquil paradise. You can spend hours lounging on the soft sand, swimming in the crystal-clear water, and soaking up under the sun.

There are inflatable banana beds that are free to use and you can also play a giant volleyball with family and friends at the beach front.

SIDE TRIP

If you have more time, you can also explore other nearby attractions. We took a sunset cruise at the nearby Potipot island. By the time we went there, the island was still closed.

The next day, we went to Magalawa Island- an hour trip from the resort. If you're looking for a side trip during your stay in Isla Vista, Magalawa Island is a must-visit destination. This pristine island boasts some of the clearest waters in the Philippines, with stunning coral reefs that make it a paradise for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. There's also an abundance of star fish in the area.

Magalawa Island is also home to a vibrant local community, with friendly residents who are always happy to share their stories and traditions with visitors. From enjoying freshly caught seafood to learning about the island's rich history and culture, a trip to Magalawa Island is a unique and enriching experience that shouldn't be missed.

HOW TO GET THERE

Getting to Isla Vista Beach Resort from Manila is relatively easy. You can take a bus from Monumento, Cubao or Pasay to Iba, Zambales and then take a jeepney or tricycle to the resort. Alternatively, you can rent a car and drive there yourself.

A PERFECT GETAWAY

Perhaps the most memorable part of my stay was the people. The staff at Isla Vista Resort went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure that I had the best possible experience. From the warm greetings each morning to the attentive service at dinner, I felt like a VIP throughout my entire stay.

As I packed my bags to leave Isla Vista Resort, I felt a sense of sadness that my time in paradise had come to an end. But I also felt a renewed sense of energy and appreciation for the beauty of the world around us. It's a hidden paradise that I'll never forget.

Isla Vista Beach Resort in Zambales is the ideal location if you're searching for a tranquil and private beach getaway.
