Global streetwear brand Dickies launched a new underwear line, formerly known as Dickies Girls and now morphed into Dickies Intimates last night at Skye W Hight Street in Taguig.
The new collection provides an answer to a dilemma amongst women-- how to feel sexy and comfortable altogether. Dickies Intimates gives the women of today a boost of confidence from their daily underwear. A bold rebranding from Dickies Girls, the brand is made sexier with its new ambassador, Arci Munoz, of heavy metal band PHILIA.
With a box office movie hit and a top rating soap opera, Arci's career is undoubtedly on the rise. What not many are aware of is her other life- she is Mona Thornes, the vocalist of heavy metal band Philia, which makes her the perfect embodiment and expression of Dickies Intimates. "It really represents the women of our generation who are bold, sexy and conservative at the same time. It's liberating. A mix of everything- just like my personality and my life. At para tawagin akong mukha ng Dickies Intimates is such a huge honour and I'm really thankful."
When asked about rebranding, Dickies Intimates' Marketing Manager Jerrinah Cheng says, "There is a need for continuous innovation of garments, especially in underwear. Designs are made specifically for a certain generation and factors are constantly changing. Women of today are more daring whilst comfort-seeking. Our company, Dickies Philippines grabbed this opportunity to produce undergarments of the highest quality in materials and design, and establishes a subsidiary brand, Dickies Underwear in 2003. In 2008, the company launched Dickies Girl, now morphed into Dickies Intimates, showcasing daily undergarments in variation of colors, prints and styles to make every woman confidently sexy and comfortable with their bodies. We hope to inspire daily lives of more women like Arci Munoz all over the Philippines!"
Dickies Intimates is available in all major SM Department Stores, selected Robinsons and Metro Department Stores, and in all Dickies boutiques nationwide.
