Subic, Zambales- 13 year old Juan Francisco Baniqued finished first in the 13-14 year old category at the recently concluded Alaska Iron Kids held last Saturday, March 5.
Baniqued clocked at 43:08 after finishing 400 meters of swimming, 12 km bike and 3 km oval run.
Joe Bernardo Santiago placed second at 43:54 and Joshua Alexander Ramos came it at 3rd at 44:16.

Meanwhile, the Borlain sisters dominated the female category. The eldest Borlain, Samantha, finished the race at 47: 52, topping the 13-14 y/o category.
Tara finished the race at 35 minutes and 6 seconds and won 1st for the 11-12 y/o division. The youngest Borlain, Franchezca, finished the race at 19 minutes, placing also first for the 6-8 y/o group.
