Azalea Residences: A Holiday Haven In Baguio

I consider Baguio as one of my happy places. Nice, cool weather. The scent of pine trees and flowers all abloom. That romantic feel. Who would not fall in love with Baguio?

I was lucky to have been given the chance to go back again in Baguio just recently. I just can't say no to a 3D 2N stay at Azalea Residences.

We had a super early call time last May 12 and we were at the hotel before 8am.

It was a beautiful surprise when we got in the hotel, located conveniently along Leonard Road, just across Teacher's Camp. It was walking distance or a short cab ride to most of the city's attractions.

The room given to us was at the ground floor- one of the best I've been. It is a serviced apartment suite and we have everything we need!

Our room is a spacious two-bedroom suite, complete with living, dining, and kitchen facilities. The living area has a sofa bed and all three areas have LED TV with cable connection. We have 2 toilet and baths and the kitchen is complete with appliances and utensils. Spectacular!

The quality over-all was excellent. Everything was clean and spotless and I love how immaculate the T and B was. We also have a veranda but since our room was located at the ground floor, we had no view.

The bed linens and sheets were comfortable. It was a sure treat and the coldness of Baguio added to the great 2 nights I spent there. After the whole day activities, we slept like babies.

Toiletries. I adore!

There are two food and beverage outlets: the flagship restaurant Tradisyon Coffee Shop, which serves traditional Filipino Comfort Food; and the bar called 8 Degrees.

Breakfast was really good, well, all of the meals served were great. We had buffet meals during the entire duration of our stay and everything served were indeed a gastronomic feast. The kare-kare was to die for! The variety of sweets was heaven! My tummy was happy.

The staff and service were excellent. Their smiles and friendly gestures added warmth to the cold weather of Baguio. The icing on the cake was when I sought the help of the staff to attend to a sick room mate during the wee hours of the morning. Help came and they did not leave us until we're OK. Highly commendable.

When In Baguio:

There are many things to do in Baguio. For first timers, a visit to the iconic places like Camp John Hay, Wright Park, The Mansion, Burnham Park and Mines View Park are a must.

Enjoy bibingka and suman sa lihia at Choco-late de Batirol along Camp John Hay. Pick strawberries at the Strawberry Farm in Benguet. Splurge on a shopping spree at the night market along Session Road. For culture and art lovers, a visit to the BenCab museum, Tam-awan Village and Ifugao Carver's Village is a must. Buy Ube at Good Shepherd Convent;  walis tambo, strawberry jam, veggies at ultra low price and other souvenir items at the market. Unleash the daredevil and the adventurous you at the Tree Top Adventure. Have some moment of silence at the Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral and Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto.

Go ghost hunting at Teacher's Camp and Laperal House. If you have more time, trek Mt. Ulap or Mt. Jumbo. Night life in Baguio is an abundance too. Or just wander, explore, let your feet take you anywhere and who knows, you might stumble upon a new love. Ayieee.

You'll never ran out of things to do in Baguio!

I had a wonderful stay in Azalea. I love Baguio and fell in love with it even more because of Azalea. My stay here was made more memorable with the good company of blogger friends and organizers.

Comfortable rooms. Excellent service. Great Food. I found a holiday haven in Azalea Residences.

PS. The wi-fi connection was ultra fast. I love! Will surely be back again!
