Marching Into History: Your Guide to Music, Culture, and Reflection at Rizal Park and Paco Park this March 2026

Whether you’re a history buff, a music lover, or just someone looking for a breezy spot to escape the Metro Manila hustle, the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) has prepared a jam-packed lineup for March 2026.

From honoring the women in our lives to reflecting during the Holy Week, here is your guide to what’s happening at Rizal Park Luneta and Paco Park this month. Best of all? Admission is free!

Celebrating National Women’s Month

March is all about "Juana," and the park is leaning heavily into empowerment and inclusive society themes.

  • March 8 (Sun): Start International Women’s Day with Serbisyo Para Kay Juan at Juana at 8:00 a.m. (Central Section). Stick around for a special Concert at the Park featuring Saint Joseph Band 98 at 5:30 p.m.
  • March 10-11 (Tue-Wed): Catch the National Women’s Month Ground Campaign at the Teodora Alonso Bldg.
  • March 20 (Fri): Join the Parkonversations Live at The Gallery (2:00 p.m.) for an insightful dialogue focused on women's empowerment.

Music and Culture Under the Stars

Nothing beats the Manila evening breeze paired with live performances at the Open-Air Auditorium.

  • March 22 (Sun): Witness the grace of the Sandiwang Kayumanggi Folk Dance Troupe at 5:30 p.m.
  • March 29 (Sun): Don’t miss the SFCLKM ng Marikina at 5:30 p.m. for a soulful Sunday sunset.

History and Tradition

If you want to reconnect with your roots, these activities are a must-attend:

  • Daily: The Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal (Light and Sound Presentation) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Central Section.
  • March 2 (Mon): The Stop and Salute Flag Raising Ceremony at the Independence Flagpole (8:00 a.m.).

Sustainability and Reflection

As the month draws to a close, the focus shifts to our planet and our faith.
