Cebu Pacific (CEB) has just reached a monumental milestone—becoming the first Philippine airline to operate 100 aircraft with the delivery of its brand-new Airbus A330neo.

This 459-seater aircraft, straight from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France, is not just another addition to the fleet—it’s the greenest, quietest, and most passenger-friendly plane in the airline’s history. As the largest A330neo operator in the Asia-Pacific, Cebu Pacific is redefining air travel for every Juan.

What Makes the A330neo Special?

·        ✅ 459 ergonomically designed Recaro seats

·        ✅ USB Type A & C ports at every seat

·        ✅ 60% smaller noise footprint

·        ✅ 25% less fuel per flight

·        ✅ Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines

·        ✅ Cabin interiors inspired by Cebu’s colors, mangoes, and puso (hanging rice)

From stylish carpets and mango-patterned walls to yellow-blue seat accents and golden-yellow lavatories, it’s a subtle but striking homage to CEB’s hometown.

A Commitment to Greener Skies

CEB’s A330neo is proof of its push toward sustainable aviation. With fuel efficiency that consumes just 1.4L per seat per 100km, this aircraft produces lower carbon emissions and costs less to operate—meaning better fares for passengers and a lighter footprint on the environment.

The airline is on track to operate an all-NEO fleet by 2028, making eco-friendly flying the new norm.

• Manila – Melbourne

🌏 International (Short-Haul)

Why It Matters

With over 13.9 million passengers flown in the first half of 2025 alone and seven new aircraft arriving this year, CEB is growing fast. And milestones like this only strengthen the airline’s vision: to make air travel more accessible, efficient, and inclusive for every Filipino.

“This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to make air travel accessible to more Filipinos,” shares Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.

With the A330neo, CEB is not just flying more—it’s flying better, smarter, and greener.
