Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, has officially relaunched its direct flights from Manila to Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The festive event took place on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, marking the return of this much-anticipated route with a lively ceremony and exciting giveaways for passengers.

The relaunch event was graced by prominent figures, including Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, Civil Aeronautics Board Executive Director Atty. Carmelo Arcilla, and representatives from the Manila International Airport Authority and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO). Their presence underscored the significance of this direct connection, which strengthens ties between the Philippines and Taiwan.
Cebu Pacific’s Manila-Kaohsiung flights are now available three times a week, operating every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This schedule offers travelers more flexibility and convenience, whether for business, leisure, or cultural exchange.
To celebrate the relaunch, Cebu Pacific is offering an exclusive seat sale from August 16 to 25, 2024. During this period, travelers can book flights from Manila to Kaohsiung for as low as PHP 1,288 one-way base fare, excluding fees and surcharges. The travel period for this promotion is from August 16, 2024, to January 31, 2025, giving passengers the perfect opportunity to explore the vibrant city of Kaohsiung.
Adding to the excitement, passengers on the inaugural Friday flight were treated to a taste of Taiwanese cuisine and received special souvenirs from Taiwan Tourism and TECO, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere before their departure.
Cebu Pacific continues to expand its network, now operating flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
