The Philippines' tropical jewel, Boracay, has long been a popular travel destination for people looking for bright beaches and exciting island life. Boracay is one of my happy places and I'm more than excited to be here for the 5th time. One name sticks out among the myriad of accommodation options: Azalea Hotels and Residences Boracay. Come along on an exploration as I reveal why this sanctuary is more than simply a place to stay—it's an experience unto itself.
The fastest route to Boracay is by air. The domestic flight from Manila to Caticlan is less than an hour. There are also direct flights to Caticlan via Clark Airport, Cebu's Mactan International Airport (if you're coming from the Visayas) and via Davao Francisco Bangoy International Airport (if you're coming from Mindanao).
By Ferry
You can also reach Boracay via 2GO Ferry from Batangas Pier. Fare depends on the accommodation you choose. Travel time is around 9 hours from Batangas Pier to Caticlan Jetty Port.
Getting to Boracay Island from Caticlan Jetty Port
After registration and payment of environmental fee and ferry ticket, you will take a short ferry ride to Cagban Jetty Port. From there, you will be picked by a van that will transfer you to your hotel (if you avail of this) or you can ride an e-trike.
