Where To Stay In Las Piñas: The Excelsior Hotel

Can't get too far but want to get your thoughts straight? Fear not- a staycation is the solution! On this blog, I will be sharing the relaxing and enjoyable stay I recently had at the newest hotel in Las Piñas.

THE EXCELSIOR HOTEL

The Excelsior Hotel Las Piñas offers guests a magnificent haven in the center of the city. The hotel provides guests a selection of 186 well-appointed rooms divided into rooms and suites categories, ranging from the deluxe to the opulent suite with panoramic city views. The hotel is renowned for its enormous outdoor pool and it also offers guests a cutting-edge spa. 

THE ROOM

We had a deluxe twin room during our stay here. The Excelsior Hotel makes use of urban luxe feels and welcoming aesthetics to engage visitors from all walks of life. The hotel has a lot of individuality, from custom furniture pieces to warm lightings, while still providing pure luxury in terms of cozy guests rooms and spacious area.

I was impressed with the plush bedding and lavish amenities. Our beds were spotless and of superior comfort. The office desk area is perfect for those who needs to check emails and infuse work. We also have a coffee and tea set up, a mini ref, a cable LED TV and a spacious dresser.

The bathroom spells posh, too. It was airy and feels very contemporary. The shower features a rain head. The towels were large and soft- an ideal indicator of calm and leisure for me. The lights provided a softer glow and fosters a relaxing atmosphere.

I also had a chance to visit the other rooms and I drooled over their suites. If you're willing to shell more extra for that extraordinary comfort and luxury, a stay at their Royal Club Grand Suite, Royal Club Lounge and 2 Bedroom Suite is highly recommendable. 

EXCLUSIVE FEATURES

The Excelsior Hotel is a perfect pick for an opulent staycation. The hotel boasts families, couples and individuals with a plethora of activities and services to ensure their well-being.

Buffet Gourmand, located at the ground hotel offers an all-day dining experience with a variety of traditional and modern meals. After your work-out session at the gym, grab some munchies and refreshments at Piñas Juice Bar. Impress a date with a fine dining experience or simply savor your appetite at the Mignon restaurant located at the 20th level.

Bask all day at their pool or enjoy delicious refreshments while reading your favorite book by the poolside. The tranquility and beautiful landscape that surrounds the pool area are astonishing.

The hotel also offers a vibrant nightlife at the Sky Sports Pub. The bar is open to all customers even if one is not staying at the hotel. Dance the night away from 5:30PM to 2:00 AM every Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursdays and Sundays it is open from 5:30PM to 12mn. Enjoy Acoustic performances, open mic and a wide selection of food and drinks.

GOING AROUND

There are several dining places that one can visit if you're staying at The Excelsior Hotel. Tablo Kitchen x Cafe South is just a 16 minute drive from the hotel. Get to Rib Shack via Pilar Road from the hotel in just 4 minutes. SM Southmall is a stone throw away-around 7 minutes walk from the hotel- if you wish to have more options. The hotel is also just 30 minutes drive from Filinvest where large malls and elegant skyscrapers abound. 

The Saint Joseph Church is famous for its Bamboo Organ- a 19th century organ with pipes made of bamboo. It was declared a National Cultural Treasure in 2003. It is one of the more iconic spots in Las Piñas and is less than 2 hours drive from the hotel.

Private Car:

from via Metro Manila Skyway

• Take the ramp on the left via the Metro Manila Skyway
• Exit on the left onto Alabang-Zapote Road
• Pass by Gallstones on the right in 2 km
• Destination will be on the right

from Starmall Alabang

• Head north on Starmall Service Road toward Manila S Rd
• Turn right after BDO ATM - Metropolis Mall Alabang (on the right)
• Turn left onto U-Turn Slot
• U-Turn Slot turns left and becomes Old West Service Road/AH26
• Turn right onto Alabang–Zapote Rd
• Turn right onto Alabang–Zapote Rd/Bridgeway Ave
• Turn left onto Alabang–Zapote Rd

Commute:

Ride a jeep going to Zapote Road from Starmall Alabang. Alight at the hotel.

COMFORTABLE STAY

The Excelsior Hotel is definitely one of the best hotels at the South of the Metro that offers plush amenities. Whether you're in for a family or friends staycation, a business trip or a honeymoon, they got you covered. We sure enjoyed some tranquil days while using the hotel's top-notch amenities. The accommodations of this hotel are an exquisite getaway with plush beds and contemporary decor. The hotel staff were courteous and very accommodating, too. It is also just a 40 minute drive from NAIA Terminal 3 airport so flying in or out is just a breeze.
