Tom Esconde and Olivia Medina Hailed Superbods Nation 2016 Winners

The much awaited announcement of the ultimate Superbods of 2016 was a grand and star-studded event last Sunday at The Palace Pool Club.

26 finalists set the stage on fire during the Century Tuna Superbods 2016 Finals Night. Adding glitz to the the summer event of the year are some of the most popular celebrities of today.

An impressive panel of judges sure had a tough time determining this year's winners: Century Pacific Foods, Inc. General Manager Greg Banzon; Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz; fashion editor and stylist Liz Uy; basketball superstar Jeron Teng; Mediaquest and TV 5 President and CEO Noel Lorrenzana; Intelligent Skin care Inc, a unit of the Belo Medical Group Managing director Cristalle Belo-Henares: and PC&V Communications President and Chief Creative Officer Ariel Comia.

Filipino Swedish Tom Esconde and Filipina-Ukranian Olivia Medina bagged the highly coveted title.

Each received P500,000 each. 1st Runners-up are Ambra Gutierrez and Clint Bondad. They each won P250,000. 2nd Runners-up are Chet Abella and Ali Khatibi, hubby of actress Cristine Reyes. They both bagged P100,000 each.

A decade of Century Tuna Superbods Search

In celebration of the 10 glorious years of this prestigious search, previous winners along with the past and present endorsers of the number 1 tuna brand had a reunion on the stage of this year's Finals Night.

Superbods Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay walked the runway along with  Xian Lim, Jessy Mendiola, Elmo Magalona, Paolo Avelino, Gerald Anderson, Isabelle Daza, KC Concepcion, Phil Younghusband, Aljur Abrenica and Solenn Heusaff
