Miss Venezuela made a back-to- back win in this year's Miss Universe. Stefania Fernadez bested 82 other beauties and bagged the crown as the most beautiful lady in the Universe.
Miss Philippines-Bianca Manalo
Sadly, our very own Bainca Manalo did not even made it in the semis cut. Mostly, Latins dominated the quest.
I have high hopes pa naman over Bianca. Last night, a friend who works as a doctor at the Bahamas even told us they are 100% sure Bianca will make it in the semi-finals. Alas, no Asian made it.
Nakakaumay na rin na parang mga Latinas (read Venezuelans) na lang ang laging pasok sa alamat ng Miss U. Sure, Latinas are gorgeous,that's a fact. Pero sila-sila na lang lagi..Gone are the years when are surprised by new rosters of beauties who make it on the cut..
Hay, san ba pedeng magpareserve ng slot sa Miss U para pasok din lagi ang Pinas?Parang reserved na lagi sa top ang mga reps ng Puerto Rico, Mexico at Venezuela.. =X
