while waiting for the ceremony--picture muna..=))
It was great to be back in Nagcarlan. I used to frequent Nagcarlan, camping at Sinipian--one of the unspoilt places there. A 'batis' nestled at the foot of Mt. Banahaw. Ryan's place is situated in Banago where Mt. Cristobal can be seen. Mt. Cristobal is also known as the Devil's Mountain because of stories of hikers who visited the place but had not returned. Much as like to discover the mystery of the place, I am short of time.
Friday, I have to talk to David and Kit about the wedding program. During the night, I visited Tala Resort- the place of the reception to coordinate with the florist, the Operations Manager, and the caterer. Oh well, Im not the wedding coordinator, but sharing some ideas won't kill me.
The place of the reception is pretty cool. Clear pool waters--and it was mineral water, mind you..Waters flowing from Mt. Banahaw. The hotel was good too--nice, spacious rooms at a very affordable rate.
Then there was the wedding. It was officiated by the city Mayor. The event was pretty big considering it was a civil wedding. Some 300 relatives and friends shared the joyous event.Everyone had a feast with the many foods served. Everyone had a fun time with the program I prepared.=)) The band made the crowd party. Over-all, it was indeed a joyous affair.
the newly weds
It was great to be part of the affair. It was nice to know that in this time where many couples are inclined to just living-in together, there are still those who value the sanctity of marriage.
My stay there was kind of short--I had fun there really. The people are really nice. Everyone's so warm. I'll surely come back again.
