Water Theme Park in Cavite: Villa Excellance Beach & Wave Pool Resort

I have an affinity with waters. Sometimes, I like it something less salty and prefers having fun in pools. If you're looking to find a frenzy of excitement that is near the metro, I highly recommend visiting Villa Excellance Beach and Wave Pool Resort. 

VILLA EXCELLANCE BEACH & WAVE POOL RESORT

Villa Excellance is located in Tanza, Cavite and is just an hour and a half drive away from Manila. Those who have been here before should look forward to new and exciting features as the new management has redesigned the 7-hectare property. This waterpark has a showcase of attractions, including 8 swimming pools comprised of 2 themed pools, 2 wave pools, 3 pools with slide and 1 pool with wave and slide. Indeed, it has a myriad of attractions that everyone will find enjoyable.

We had fun pool hopping and our inner child was happy as we go up and down to try the slides. To be honest, I'm not the type who would normally try doing the slides but since the pools are mostly 4 feet deep, I thought I'd give it a shot--and it was addicting! I did it several times and enjoyed the high thrill speed.

We also loved the wave pool. A honk signals the wave. We delighted in the 'bubble party' while having fun at the ripple. Some party music are also being played making it more entertaining. On weekends, the wave pool party runs until 12mn. Awesome sauce! 

Each pool is manned by able lifeguards and staff to ensure the safety of each guest. I'd also like to add that everyone were genuinely courteous and warm.

ACCOMMODATION

Aside from the water slides, wave pools and beach views, our trip at Villa Excellance was made more fun and enjoyable with our stay at their Suite Villa. I highly recommend staying here if you're willing to shell some extra from your pocket. It provided us much privacy and space and it is perfect for big group of families and friends. 

The 2-floor air-conditioned villa is fully equipped with 5 beds that can accommodate 10 pax, a 2 seater diner, a TV, refrigerator,  and a jacuzzi area. It also has a private toilet and bath with basic toiletries. We were also provided complimentary water and bath towels.

I love the coastal vibe of our room. The sheets and linens were clean and fresh. The mattresses had the right firmness- we slept like babies after a fun day at the waters. 

The most exciting feature of their Suite Villa is the jacuzzi! A vacation stay in a resort with a jacuzzi is the ultimate in luxury and relaxation. Not only is it a nice hang out area for stories and drinks, did you know that a jacuzzi also provides significant benefits? It reduces stress, is good for muscles and joints, and helps improve blood circulation. I find it very relaxing to wind down at the jacuzzi after soaking my body at the wave pool. And I'm not sure if you'll agree but a jacuzzi kind of make that night more romantic with your loved one, right? Here's a peek at our Suite Villa.

HAPPY TUMMIES

During our stay at Villa Excellance, we were treated to a buffet breakfast and dinner and a hearty lunch. Please note that if you're staying in their rooms or villas, only a complimentary breakfast for number of adults indicated in the rate inclusion is provided. 

Upon arrival, we were served sinigang na baka and breaded chicken for a late lunch. We had buffet dinner that night and the kare-kare and shrimp with fries were divine. The tinola was perfect for the night, too!

The next day, we started our day with a buffet breakfast. We had eggs, burger steak, chicken nuggets and pasta. I had pancakes and a hot cup of coffee, too. Before leaving, we had another buffet lunch. The pancit, adobo and sweet and sour fish were awesome. Each bite provided a forkful of comfort and flavor.

For this weekend trip, we had a bounty of food, each bite more delicious than the last.

I had the opportunity to fly my Sky Lantern which reminded me of my previous experience in Shifen, Taiwan. They say you need to make a wish while your lantern makes it way to the sky. Wanna know my wish? Sana sya na nga ang para sa akin. Hihihi.

The resort is also a great area if you're a company looking for a place for your Team Building activities. They also have  meeting rooms that can accommodate 80-100 pax and a banquet hall for 300 pax.

HOW TO GO THERE

Commute| From PITX, ride a bus going to Tanza. Watch out on your left for McDonalds Micara Tanza. Depart between Amaya and Glowing Field Station. Once at Sahud Ulan-Sitio Postema (there's a small signage of Villa Excellance at the corner), ride a trike to the resort. We paid P60 for two.
