Tips: How To Spend Your Christmas Bonus Wisely

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Oh yes, Pasko is in the air! For those working, you probably have received your Christmas bonus already. Ahihihi.

Before going to a gadget store to get that mobile phone you have been eyeing or buy that motorcycle for your jowa, consider my tips first.

1. Reward yourself.
You have been working very hard this year and yes, you deserve a treat. Pwede pa naman siguro yang gamit mong phone so dont think of buying something that will totally wreck your wallet.

Suggestions: Buy yourself a new pair of pants. Buy ka na din a new set of undies. Iba ang feeling pag bago ang suot mong undies--nakaka-proud. Ahihi. Reward yourself on a gastronomic feast. Try a new restaurant and indulge. Minsan lang naman yan, so go. Or pag di kaya ng budget, pwede pa din sa iyong favorite Jobee or Mcdo pero dagdagan mo ng sundae. Kung may little extra, have a staycation in a hotel. Magbuhay royalty ka for once. Ah yeah!

2. Buy something new for the home.
It doesnt have to be a new ref or a new LED TV. Chos.

Suggestions: Buy some new kurtina to accentuate your window. Or pwede ka din magpalagay ng bidet sa inyong bathroom for a more comfortable CR experience. Madaming mura sa Divisoria, and the things you can buy for the home is endless!

3. Pay your UTANG.
Oh yes, this includes your credit cards.

Suggestion: Kung dati lagi kang minimum payment sa credit cards mo, dagdagan mo na ngayon! If you can settle all your bills, mas bongga!

4. Share your blessings/ Give back
Magbigay kay nanay at tatay. Dont forget to buy something din for your kapatids. It need not be big. Pwede na ang malulutong na singkwenta. Ahihihi.

Suggestion: Make this holiday more meaningful by giving time to the less fortunate ones. Gather your friends and organize a small party for the less privileged. Or join a gift sharing activity- madaming ganyan ngayon- all you have to do is just google it. Kung di pa din kaya, buy ka ng 2 chickenjoy and give it to random people- ang kapalit na ngiti sa mukha nila ang iyong best reward.

Pwede din: Kay manong na lagi mong binibilhan ng yosi, give ka ng P50 and dont get the change na. Buy a lipstick for the tindera who drops by your office to deliver meryenda. Dont forget to donate din sa church, Tandaan, those who shares more, receives more.

5. Save and Invest.
O syempre, wag puro waldas, Matutong mag-tabi kahit paano. Open a new bank account and start saving. Or invest in a mutual fund.

Ikaw, how do you plan to spend your Christmas bonus?
