Staycation at The Contemporary Hotel

I live a hectic lifestyle. Teleserye taping, show rehearsal, album recording, mall shows.. Ako na ang busy!

I love rewarding myself with travels and staycations. It's my way of rejuvenating myself after wrestling with so many things at work and at home.

Last week, I had the opportunity to stay at The Contemporary Hotel in Quezon City. I had a suite room for that weekend. As I opened the door, I was greeted by a calming and fragrant smell. I was also surprised to find it in black, white and red - like it was customized for me!

I have a very spacious room and a nice, big, comfy bed. Looks like I'm in for a sound sleep.

My suite also has a kitchen area, yes, with utensils available.

A nice area to read my books.

Coffee and tea are a handy.

The T & B is immaculate. But yeah, a bath tub would have been lovely.

Toiletries. Im just not digging the packaging. But the shampoo smells divine!

My room overlooks the busy Araneta Avenue. I was on a time when construction is being done on that road but I am surprised that I can almost hear little to almost nothing from outside. Fantastico!

The hotel is very near many establishments- coffee shop, pizza parlor, restaurants, grocery and banks. It is also strategically located near a mall- perfect for those to wants to do some shopping or maybe watch a movie.

The receptionist is very friendly and always with a smile.

 The lobby and dining area.

The hotel bar. For staying in the suite, I got a complimentary cocktail or beer. Not bad, right?

Lunch and dinner can be ordered at the hotel. For dinner, I tried their Bistek Tagalog and leche flan for dessert. I found the serving small but it was enough to fill my tummy. Again, there are many food establishments nearby to those who prefers food outside the hotel. For breakfast, we had a buffet. Yay!

I also love that this hotel has a pool! The indoor pool was clean and warm- perfect for a morning dip.

The hotel also had a mini snack bar at the ground floor. Perfect for lazy feet like me who doesn't want to go outside to buy stuff, They have chips, ice cream and cellphone load! Amazing! :)

Over-all I was impressed with the warm accommodation I received. The staff were friendly and courteous. Contrary to the reviews I've previously read, the hotel was clean, the air condition units weren't noisy and there were no crawling insects.

I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. My short staycation was rejuvenating. Staying here calmed my thoughts and I went home with a lifted mood.

And yes, one need not go far for a relaxing weekend. I will surely come back again.
