6 Recommended Things To Do in Boracay

So we were in Boracay before the Holy Week. We all know how the world loved this island- white powdery sand, crystal clear waters, glorious sunset.

Aside from beach bumming, feasting in great food, enjoying the night life and watching ladies clad in their bikinis, there are many things that you can do in Boracay.

Among what we tried are:

1. BANANA BOAT RIDE

Mas masaya kung matulin talaga magpatakbo si mamang driver para feel na feel mo ang bumpy ride sa waters. At syempre, dapat humihiyaw-hiyaw din kayo para mas feel na feel.

2. HELMET DIVING

It's my 2nd time to try Helmet Diving. Given another chance, I'd do it again. Scary pagbaba but once you're submerged, it's a different feeling. Halong kaba, saya, love--lahat na! Definitely a must try activity at Boracay!

3. ATV Ride

I enjoyed the ATV ride. Hanggang bike lang ang kaya ko i-drive and I was skeptic to try this at first. But they said it runs automatic so I thought maybe I can give this a shot. And yes, kaya ko naman pala! We stopped by a tower and from there was a magnificent view of the island.

Breathtaking panoramic view of the island.

4. VISIT TRICK ART MUSEUM

If you're tired of the beach bumming, why not stop at the Trick Art Museum at Happy Dreamland Theme Park. Aliw din sa loob. You can take a gazillion of trick pics and wow your friends.

5. SKY CYCLE

Im not afraid of heights, so OK saken ang Sky Cycle na ito, which is also located at Dreamland. There's a similar amenity like this in Caliraya which I regret not trying. At P99, this is a fun ride. Warning to those who have 'lula' problems, this may send chills to your spines- but once you get the hang of it, madali na lang sya. :)

6. SIDE TRIP AT CARABAO ISLAND

A 20 minute boat ride from the Puka Beach of Boracay will take you to the beautiful Carabao or Hambil Island of Romblon. It's not crowded as Boracay and the serene, calm and cool waters of the beach is really soothing. Here's my entry on my Carabao island hop just in case you missed it.

Truly, there are many things that you can do in Boracay. If I had the budget, I would have love to try parasailing and jet skiing--maybe on my 3rd visit.

For those who don't have extra on their wallets, enjoy na lang na the company of your loved ones and friends. Masarap din naman magpagulong-gulong sa buhangin ng Boracay. Or explore the area and mingle with the tourists. Who knows, a love made in Boracay may be brewing. Ahihihi. So there.
